Junior Network Operations Engineer building and maintaining the infrastructure that keeps people connected, while studying CS & Cybersecurity at Oregon State eCampus.
I'm a Junior Network Operations Engineer at Alyrica Networks, where I serve as the final escalation point for technical issues across a combined WISP and fiber provider network. My day-to-day involves configuring core and access layer routers, supporting VoIP systems, maintaining infrastructure, and managing internal IT onboarding.
What started as frontline customer support grew into a deep interest in how networks actually work: the routing, the protocols, the infrastructure underneath. That curiosity is what's driving me to finish my CS degree with a focus on cybersecurity while working full time.
Outside of networking, I'm interested in the intersection of security and systems: understanding not just how to keep things running, but how to keep them safe.
